I was in my car on a nasty, rainy evening. The parking lot was jam packed and the bottoms of my pants were soaked from the rain. I wanted to be home, but still had errands to run. It was "one of those days."
Then out of nowhere, I felt compelled to look up. And I'm so glad I did. I looked up through my sunroof and saw the most beautiful pop of color in a newly flowering tree, showing off against the drab, gray sky.
Some days we can feel so weighed down by the muck, can't we? We can look left and look right at the mundane and feel drained by it.
Instead, let's choose to simply pause and look up.
Acknowledge God and the beauty that comes from Him. Let's choose to rejoice. To celebrate growth & the miracle of blessings from above.
