In August, I joined Audrey Hood Art for an art class This was a super special class to benefit a sweet little girl named Charlotte.
You may remember that last month I’d shared about Charlotte on Insta stories. April is Charlotte’s mama. I have read April’s blog for YEARS (like maybe since ‘09.) I remember thinking how sweet April was, how fun her life in Charlotte, NC sounded and how I might want to move there one day (praise God for making that happen in 2013!). I’ve absolutely adored April’s lifestyle blog and following along on her life and her sweet fam.
Earlier this year, her 2 year old daughter Charlotte was diagnosed with leukodystrophy.. a rare, terminal, incurable disease. I’m tearing up just thinking about it. Devastating doesn’t even describe it.
So, Audrey held this painting class to benefit April and her family as they deal with the emotional and financial implications of this diagnosis. Audrey donated all the proceeds to the family. If you feel led, you can also contribute to a GoFundMe that’s been graciously set up.
Audrey was a fabulous teacher and we had so much fun creating masterpieces for such a worthy cause. Art truly is therapeutic. The time went by so quickly. Would definitely encourage you to join a local art class or pick up some art supplies and have at it! I think you'll love it. : )
Want to know a fun way you can support April & Charlotte?! I'll ask that you prayerfully consider if it’s time to say YES to your God sized dreams. If God is leading you to bravely take that next step, coaching may be a great fit for you! AND, through the end of this month, I'll donate $100 to Charlotte for every coaching package purchased!
I personally know how it takes an incredible amount of encouragement, accountability, and grit to move past your fear. But, it can absolutely be done. Let’s work together (with God!) to make it happen!! Go ahead & reserve your clarity call as your next baby step : ) It’s like a mini coaching session where we will talk about what’s going on, what you’d like to happen instead, and figure out one way for you to get closer making that dream less of a dream and more of a reality! And, it’s my free gift to you!
Cheers to Charlotte, art, and the power of coaching. So much love.
